To me, photography is not just showing up with a camera and knowing how to press the shutter. Photography is art, about knowing how to capture a memorable and once-in-a-lifetime moment with style, depth, emotion, lighting and composition. All the while, letting your true character shine through each of those elements and knowing that each moment is fleeting and will never happen again. This is why it's important to have a photographer like myself at your wedding, a photographer who doesn't let the sometimes crazy aspects of the day interfere with creating beautiful images and to successfully capture your once-in-a-lifetime moments for you. My style is all Los Angeles, but my attitude and ethics are purely Midwestern (I'm from Wisconsin ;-).

With photography, I constantly emphasize and challenge my own diversity, not setting any limitations upon myself in terms of style or content. My artistic talents enable me to make beautiful and meaningful imagery out of any situation or subject. I capture styles of classicism, romanticism and expressionism throughout your day. Most recently, I was fortunate to be chosen as the photographer for the "2007 Modern Bride of the Year," the cover story for Modern Bride Magazine. My work has also been published in Inside Weddings.

Travel is one of my passions, I have photographed weddings all over Metro Los Angeles/OC, San Francisco, San Diego, Washington, Arizona, New York, Texas, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Indiana and Wisconsin.

As for you technological people out there, I shoot with all Professional Canon 35mm and Digital SLR cameras. My personal equipment includes EOS 5d's (12.8 megapixels) digital cameras. I also have the highest quality Canon "L" lenses available, including the 16-35 f/2.8L mark II, 24-70 f/2.8L and 70-200 f/2.8L Image Stabalized. I record the images on 35 gigs of CF cards. Lighting my subjects include six powerfull strobe monolights as well as Canon 580ex II on camera flashes. Post production takes place on a Dual Core Intel iMac running Photoshop CS3. This is my short list, as listing all my gadgets would make a long and boring list. Please note that I am not a photographer that leaves anything to chance, ever. I have backups in case something might go wrong with a piece of gear and drive a brand new 2007 year car (so I won't break down on the way to your wedding!). I strive to be the photographer that I would hire for my own wedding or special event.

I am a member of the Wedding and Portriat Photographers International (WPPI), Professional Photographers of America, as well as a member of to ensure my equipment is always in top working order. My photography services also carry full business liability insurance.
